Hey guys!
so in Korea, instead of saying CHEEEEESE when taking pictures... they say KIMCHIIII! I think I would rather say cheese since it tastes much better than Kimchi! we have little lady dog that we will use and add her to our pictures when we go out and about, our next trip is on the 22nd, we are going to a folk village and a Buddhist temple as well, we are excited about that... Here are a few pictures from this last weekend, I wanted to find this lake that is close by, and somehow ended up on the other side of Daegu.. whoops! we finally got there.. and the kids were less than impressed.. oh well! we will go back when the swan paddle boats are open..
Those these were so funny, but its an air compressor, and the Koreans take their walk around the lake.. which is compacted dirt but feels like cement, and when they are done, they air off their shoes.. the kids loved it!
This is Suseong Lake, These iPhone pictures dont give this lake justice, its gorgeous, and I packed our good camera in our house hold goods.. DOH! I have a few more weeks to wait until I can get it back.

I went downtown in the shopping area.. which is not like the US, but its fun to walk around anyway...
and I see this picture... ummm excuse me.. CAT CAFE??? so me and my friend decide to hike the 4 floors which is actually about 10 I swear... we wanted to see what this was about.
and its this.... a little cat cafe, you pay 7,000 won, which is about $6.50 for a drink, and get to pet cats for as long as you would like... it didnt smell, it was clean.. and cats were everywhere.. we didnt actually go in this time, we just snapped a picture from the door, but I may take Ashlynne one of these days :)
